I straight up bought a new camera cord.

Dear Camera cord,

stop hiding, you bitch!  Until then, I have a picture!  Not makeup..just me.  I changed my hair.

And it's a stupid picture because my dad was playing with his new phone and I was just being silly.

I'll have something quality sooner or later.

Smokey eyes, I need a favor!

Hey everyone!  I have a fashion show to do this Thursday, and I'm doing smokey eyes on all of the models.  Does anyone have any good pictures of some pretty epic, runway-worthy smokey eyes?  I have a few ideas in mind, but right now, I need all the inspiration I can get!!

Just some stuff.

To show you, that sometimes, I do makeup.  I hate being uninspired.  It's so frustrating and annoying.  I can't take it.  I'm pretty sure my head will explode soon.  I'm doing a fashion show next month, and maybe a photoshoot soon.  Here's a picture of me, to show that sometimes I still wear makeup, and 3 from a recent photoshoot, where I did hair and makeup.  It was all pretty natural.

Hello everyone.   I missed the 1 year anniversary of my blog.  Ugh.

I'm sorry to my new followers, since I have yet to produce anything.  I'm sooo uninspired right now it's absolutely ridiculous.  I'm started to second guess things, and I'm just a little lost right now.

I absolutely need to get back to blogging but I'm just not sure when that's going to happen.  I don't want to say I will, because I know I won't.

So I'm absolutely sorry for my absense, I miss everyone and I hope everyone is doing well.

Ew. So I'm feeling a bit under the weather. Not too bad but the change in weather is definitely getting to me...and it's blowing in all sorts of stuff that have my allergies getting the best of me. Just to refresh everyone's memory, I asked my judges to judge each look individually.  There was a possibility of getting 100 points (between both looks).  Here was the rating criteria.

Followed Rules - 10 points
Originality - 10 points
Creativity - 10 points
Technique - 10 points
Aesthetics (Visually Appealing) - 10 points

So basically, I opened a spreadsheet, put all the results, got the average, then added the two looks together....:D

Here we go!.....

 In THIRD (3rd)  place with 85 points out of 100...

3rd and 2nd place were only .6 points apart! Wow!

In SECOND (2nd)  place with 86 points out of 100...

Tutorial

Well hello there.  I'm at work right now...spoooooky!!  Not really.  It's a scheduled post.  First of all, happy first day of FALL!  YES! FINALLY!  Stupid Summer is OVER.  Anyway, I hope I'm having a good day at work.  Is that weird? To be wishing myself a good day?  Whatever.

Anyway, I did a quick tutorial yesterday for this look:

Remember this look?  Phyrra, kind of off-handedly, "requested" a tutorial for it. 

Well, when I did it for my tutorial, it didn't turn out as good, but ya know..you get the general idea of what I was doin. 

This is what you be's needin'.

I marked out those two because I didn't use them.  Really, I didn't need em, but I grabbed em just in case. 

You'll just need a highlight shadow, crease color shadow (I went with black), and an eyeliner.  I had to use my liquid because that cream is all dry and icky. D':  I need a new one.  Anyway, and you just need 2 or 3 brushes.  I just have an eyeshadow brush, angled brush and a flat brush.

First, of course, clean eye...then prime it.

Ew eyebrows.   Sorry it's dark.  I was sitting in a weird spot...blah.

Highlight all over.

Kind of dramatic eyeliner of choice, bringing it down below your eyes.

GODDAMN ME.  I suck at taking clear pictures.  ANYWAY, with your angled brush, and/or flat brush...I used both, get the eyeshadow and connect it to the top of the eyeliner and bring it in on the crease.  And it'll be easy, because you've already put your highlight all over.

With your eyeshadow, you're basically going to take it from the very tip of the eyeliner (or the cat eye), and the end of your eye, make it into a triangle and blend into your crease.  Ya see?

Finish up, with mascara and eyeliner to your waterline..and filling in your eyebrow, etc.  I didn't because I only did one eye and then took it off.  :D

High Voltage Haul and Swatches.

Yup.  I took advantage of the sale at High Voltage.  And I plan to take advantage of it one more time. 

Sucka.

Anyway, I ordered 15 eyeshadows, 7 lippies, Eyeshadow Base in Medium, Cream Eyeshadow in Back in Black, Magic Dust, Eyebrow Powder in Brunette, Blush in Hookin' Up and Dirty Secret.

Looky!  Jasmine took what I said in my review very seriously and made her packages more personal. :)  It was wrapped WAAAY better, and nice and safe!  My co-worker and I had just tooorn into it at work..so this is what it looked like when I got home..tehe.  She had orginally changed the stickers, after I commented saying they rubbed off.  Which seemed to cause a fuss, oops. That wasn't my intention.  I like the foil stickers, I didn't like the fact that the writing disappeared on me.  She changed back to the foil stickers, BUT knew how to fix em so they would stay.  Yay.  Everyone is happy.  Rar.

I'll have to do a follow up review sometime.

Lippies!!

I got ahold of some candies before she discontinued them.  Which I'm really sad about, but she wanted to make a switch to Vegan products.  Since the Lip Gunks, which are now called Lip Whip, weren't available..and I don't mind pots..:) She said she'd make some candies if I wanted...or the other whipped lipstick type formula I love, but isn't available to the public yet. She's so sweet!

So I got 3 candies and 4 whipped lipstick things...ya know. :D  Which I THINK were going to be called Lip Whips, but no..? I don't know.  I'm just making assumptions.  And you know what happens when you assume!  You make and ass outta u AND me!

Anywhooooo...swatches. :)

Sorry they're sooo messy.  I just applied them with my finger.  By the way, I only apply one layer of color.

Top is without flash, and just for giggles, bottom is with flash. :)

Ripped Fishnet, Party Crasher and Inferno were all part of the lip candies.  I'm not sure if she's going to bring those colors back into whips or the other formula or not.  We'll see. :D
